Some hikes, like the one to Cobble Lookout, offer outstanding views with minimal effort, while all-day outings include any of the three long, steep trails to the summit of Whiteface, where 360-degree views await.

Once the snow melts and the dirt firms up, the Whiteface Region is home to miles upon miles of amazing singletrack mountain bike trails. Local residents and land owners, trail workers, elected officials, and the state government have all helped turn Wilmington into a mountain biker's haven, complete with planned rides and a variety of trails that are suitable for all ages, levels, and abilities.
